Some Random words...

Random words is about how you generate a new idea. This is the greatest way to generate new ideas. This concept automatically provoke reaction from our brain to start thinking compare to mind map or brainstorm of finding solution.It is an idea generation method which allows students to systematically generate new ideas through a fixed formula. The whole premise of Random Association is to use a random word to provoke a reaction from the brain.

There are 3 steps which we have to follow;

1. Discover
- First, write down anything that come in your mind when thinking about problem you are facing. Write down
all the problems as you can.

2. Finding Associate
- Relate each random word of the problems you wrote down.

3. Use Associate To Create New Ideas
- Apply the random words to find a solution to solve your problems.

Here is an example to understand random words / image association better:

To design / propose an "Idea" or image or object that create in still fear among to Human Being
Problem is : HOW TO STOP SMOKING FOR 6 MONTHS ?
exemple:
Traffic light - What idea do you get when you see this image of a traffic light?

Colour : We can change the colour of the cigarette into three parts(Red, Yellow, Green).When the smoker smokes untill the cigarette reaches the green colour part,it shows that they are still safe.Next,when the cigarette reaches the yellow part,it shows that they are reaching the danger part of their life and finally when it reaches the red part,it shows that the smoker is completely in danger and risk.

Price : We can increase the price of amercement not the cigarette price so when they smoke in the non smoking area,they would get high rate of amercement.

Thickness : Make the cigarette become thinner so that the smoker will feel weariness when it comes to smoking.

Awareness: Create an awareness image on the cigarette that creates fear and disgusness among people who smoke.

Conclusion : People will be afraid of taking these risks and they would stop smoking.

Actually, I think you'll find that you can't solve it. It teaches us how to make one, although it would be pretty boring to even half do one.
